Robotics Club

Georgetown Elementary offers a robotics club for interested third, fourth and fifth grade students. Using the VEX IQ platform, students work in teams to design, engineer and program robots to compete in teamwork, STEM, programming and other challenges to promote critical thinking, problem solving and leadership skills within our students.

• 2017 - Delaware State Excellence Award (Qualified & Competed @ Vex World Championships in Ky.)
• 2018 - Delaware State Teamwork Challenge Champions (Qualified & Competed @ Vex World Championships in Ky.)
• 2019 - Bots @ the Beach Energy Award
• 2020 - Bots @ the Beach Skills Award
• 2020 - Delmarva Regional Teamwork Challenge Champions (Qualified for Vex World Championships in Ky.  ~not held due to Covid 19)
